Prague...day 1 continued

This is a building designed by Frank Gehry called the Dancing House.  It wasn't far from our hotel.

Another cathedral in the main square of Prague's Old Town.  This wasn't far from the Jewish Quarter, so Franz Kafka's father had a shop in the first floor of the building on the right.

Prague!!

Yesterday, Jake and I returned from a fantastic trip to Prague and Berlin with Jake's cousin Patty.  We had a great time and it was quite the adventure!!  All week, we were trying to keep up with Patty, which made it an even better time because she got Jake to stay out past midnight every night!  I am going to post trip pictures in a few different posts...so this is just the start!

This is another picture of Prague Castle from our hotel.  It was quite foggy, but so amazing!

This is the famous astronomical clock.  It was built in the 14th century, and the city council had the artist blinded after making it so he could not make another like it.

The first day, we went to a castle outside of Prague called Carlstein Castle.  This is where King Charles IV (we called him Chuck) of the Holy Roman Empire decided to store the crown jewels.  He had a special chapel built on the top of the highest tower to store the jewels.  The chapel was encrusted in gold and precious gems, and it still is despite the lootings of the Nazi's and Communists across Europe.  Here are some photos from the castle.

Cooper adores his Orange Weiner toy. I am sure that is enjoyment comes mainly from the fact that Orange Weiner as two squeekers left and is probably the most obnoxious toy he owns. In addition, it smells terrible from constantly being in his mouth. It's pretty sick!!

Jake and Carrie Have a Blog!

So, suprisingly, Jake and I finally have a blog!! This way we will be forced to take pictures and post them for all to see!! Plus, most things that happen in our lives are so funny, (I attract strange situations) it is a sin not to share them with everyone else, including photo verification!!
